Why should the procuracy investigate the businessman Sokol Meqemeja

Note : The National Food Authority's timid announcement of Wudy sausages infected with deadly bacteria is so far the only government response to the scandal.

There are thousands of kilograms of these products that have been put on the market in the last three months. The businessman Sokol Meqemeja himself admitted that during the communication with the Italian parent company he was asked if there are dead people in Albania.

However, this statement is not enough either for the Ministry of Agriculture to launch an administrative investigation to verify if the structures have been crippled, or for the prosecution to launch the main investigations.

Because it is about a bacterium that is suspected to have killed six people in Italy and infected dozens of others. Meqeme's statement that these products are consumed by 50 million Italians cannot justify this crime.

The administrative and criminal investigations must first reveal whether or not the products with expiration dates of September 19 and 20, i.e. one day before the AKU issued the alarm, have been consumed or not. If they have not been consumed, have they been blocked and disposed of as required by law and regulations of state structures?

The investigation should also clarify what was the reaction of the company? Has it been cooperative, as AKU claims? If so, was he honest in this collaboration, or is there a possibility that he changed the expiration label and re-launched the product?

The answers can give the right to the company and the businessman Sokol Meqemeja, stripping them of legal responsibility. But, if the investigations show the opposite, then in this case we are dealing with terrorism, because it is a matter of mass danger to the health of the population, which cannot be overcome with awareness campaigns.

In conclusion, either the first or the second need answers, and the answers are not provided by the statements and spectacles of the businessman in press conferences, nor by the timid announcements of the AKU. The answers are given only by the investigative bodies, which have instead chosen to remain silent.
