"We owe nothing to the president of Turkey and Turkey, just as neither the president of Turkey nor the Republic of Turkey owe us anything, because between friends and brotherly friendship there is no debt."
This was the statement of Prime Minister Edi Rama given to the media a few days after the visit of the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Albania on January 17, when he asked the head of the Albanian government to take concrete steps to fight the Gülenists as a "precondition". for the friendship and partnership between the two countries.
Erdogan then declared that the Turkish people are "deeply hurt" by the fact that the Hizmet Movement of the cleric, Fetullah Gulen, finds scope in Albania.
However, Rama seems to have rejected this request from Erdogan and then in the media it has been hinted that there is a rift in friendship between the two leaders and a fact that added even more to the suspicions was the non-opening of the doors of the "Namazgja" mosque in the middle of the capital. , which is still closed today.
But today, Rama seems to have changed his mind by implementing Erdogan's request, going beyond what he said after the Turkish president's visit.
A few days ago, it was reported that the Ministry of Education closed the non-public kindergarten "Zubeyde Hanim", part of the "Turgut Ozal" society, financed by the Turkish philanthropist Fethullah Gulen, while today the "Mhmet Akif Ersoy" school was also closed, including all pre-university cycles.
The closing of the non-public kindergarten "Zubeyde Hanim" was done on the grounds of a serious violation of the license, since according to the Ministry of Education, the building where the activity was carried out was not equipped with the relevant authorization from the ministry.
While for the "Mhmet Akif Ersoy" school, the reason was not given, but the Government through a special VKM forces this educational institution to take measures for the transfer of students to other institutions of pre-university education for all registered students and to return payments made (if any) by the student's parent/legal representative for the unfinished part of the schooling, as well as any other outstanding obligations that may be owed to the student.
The non-public kindergarten "Zubeyde Hanim" reacted after the decision of the Ministry of Education by directly accusing the Albanian institutions for closing this institution, questioning the legality of the decision, while emphasizing in the statement that it may have happened under various pressures, without mentioning that by whom.
Erdogan has asked Rama to clean up the Muslim Community of Albania, as he claims that this institution is also run by the "FETO" organization, as he considers it.
