Road accidents have continued to increase even for the month of November according to the data published by INSTAT.

In November 2023, there are 167 road accidents out of 92 that occurred in November 2022.

For the month of November 2023, the number of road accidents has increased by 81.5% compared to November last year.

"Road accidents, in 88% of cases, occurred as a result of the driver's behavior. The highest number of accidents in this period was committed by the 25-34-year-old age group, accounting for 34.7% of the total number of accidents", says the announcement of INSTAT.

So throughout the month of November 2023, the highest number of road accidents occurred on Wednesday with 19.8%, while the lowest number of accidents occurred on Monday with 8.9%.

While the highest number of road accidents occurred during the time frame 08:00-12:00, accounting for 22.8% of the total number of road accidents.

Accidents also increased for the 11th month

For the period January-November 2023, 1,128 road accidents are counted, while the number of accident victims is 1,531 people.

Compared to the period January-November 2022, the number of road accidents has increased by 6.4%.

According to INSTAT, for the 11th month of this year, 12% of road accident cases occurred as a result of pedestrian behavior.

But compared to the 11th month of last year, the cause of accidents due to pedestrians has decreased by 6.9%. While accidents due to the driver's behavior have increased by 4.8%.
