Austria's largest newspaper "Kronen Zeitung", has published this Monday a serious article about the President of Albania, Ilir Meta.

According to her, he paid 700 thousand dollars for lobbying, in an offshore company.

As if that were not enough, the newspaper writes that the man who discovered the facts, is threatened with life and for this reason, has sought refuge in Austria.

We are not mentioning then the money that Monika Kryemadhi pays for aesthetic interventions in Vienna, that they are ridiculous figures, compared to those of her husband.

Now it is not a new thing for Ilir Meta to be accused of such affairs, which surprisingly always have the number 7 inside.

He is perceived, and not without reason and without facts, as the most corrupt politician in the country.

But now, he is also accused as a man who kills you, if you reveal or denounce his affairs.

Only that, if in any European country, this article would shake a country from its foundations, after talking about the president, in Albania the news has passed in complete silence.

With the exception of two or three media outlets, he has not been reported by anyone else.

The most ridiculous thing was that while 90% of them did not report it as news, they all published Ilir Meta's denial.

So they published a rebuttal, of something they had not reported at all.

Imagine now what would have happened today in the Albanian media, if instead of Ilir Meta, the name in the writing of the Austrian newspaper would be Edi Rama or any of his ministers.

We would have a real hysterical storm, as has happened in previous cases.

Suffice it to recall here the case of a few days ago, when there was no portal left without publishing a report of an Italian suburban newspaper, which brought the story of an Italian criminal, who claimed to be assisted by an Albanian minister, for drug trafficking.

Whereas when the largest Austrian newspaper accuses the Albanian president by name and surname, of a 700 thousand euro affair, and moreover, that threatens the life of the person who revealed the affair, in Albania it is not news.

Now look at who reported the news about Ilir Meta this Monday, to find out who actually controls the media in this country.

Then they complain that it is Rama's fault, that there is no free and honest journalist here, that the Prime Minister is threatening them!
