The court of Elbasan sentences Ramiz Mic to life imprisonment, declaring him guilty of the criminal offense of "murder due to family circumstances".

Earlier, the prosecutor's office of Elbasan demanded life imprisonment for 37-year-old Ramiz Mici, who killed his co-habitant with a knife.

The serious event took place in Elbasan in July 2022, where after a jealous fight, Ramiz Mici killed Etlira Elez, mother of two children, with a knife.

Both divorced and parents from previous marriages, the couple had decided to live together in a rented apartment in the "Skënderbej" neighborhood in Elbasan, where the incident took place.

After about a year, the prosecutor of the case Xhelian Seferi presented the final discussion in the Court of First Instance of the Elbasan General Jurisdiction against Ramiz Mic, accused of the criminal offense of "Murder due to family relations" provided by article 79/ci K. Criminal.
