The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has raised the alarm that unidentified persons have created a fake website, which presents itself as a platform for applying for Albanian visas, risking deceiving foreign citizens who intend to obtain regular entry documentation into the country.
According to the data made public, this website imitates the content and structure of the official visa application platform, publishing materials and information similar to institutional ones. However, the authorities clarify that it is not authorized and has no connection with Albanian state institutions.
The Ministry calls on all foreign citizens and interested parties to exercise maximum caution and use only official channels for applications and information, in order to avoid any form of abuse or possible fraud.
"MEPJ calls on citizens and interested parties to show maximum caution and use only official sources for applications and information, in order to avoid any possible abuse," the Ministry's announcement further states.
