A 40-year-old man living in Saranda, identified as Adrian Ogiçi, was arrested in Spain.

The citizen was wanted for kidnapping and drug trafficking.

In 2015, Ogiçi is suspected of kidnapping Ridvan Lamaj in Saranda and then fleeing the country. The complaint at the time was filed by Lamaj's wife and brother.

For this charge, filed in 2017, he was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

"Following the cooperation with partners for the exchange of information on the location, capture and arrest for the purpose of extradition of citizens declared internationally wanted, it has been possible to locate, capture and arrest, in Spain, the citizen Adrian Ogiçi, 40 years old, resident of Saranda.

This citizen has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for committing the criminal offenses of "Kidnapping" and "Drug Trafficking", committed in collaboration , the police statement said.
