Two Dutch tourists were rescued by the police after being stranded on a steep and snowy terrain between Jezerca Mountain and Nemua Bjeshke.

The tourists asked for help in the operating room of the Tropoja Police Station around 12:15.

Immediately after receiving the notification, the services of the Tropoja Police Station organized the work and started the search, in order to locate the tourists.

After several hours of searching by the police services, the tourists were located in an area between Jezerca mountain and Bjeshke i Nemuna.

They were escorted by police officers for several hours on foot, in a very dangerous terrain for life, and after arriving at a terrain where the helicopter could land, they were transported by a helicopter of the Ministry of Defense to the place where they were accommodated.

Both tourists are in good health.
