This is Alfons Ndoci, the man who was arrested on Saturday evening by Greek police after being identified by one of his victims in the Mykonos robbery.

In 2014, Ndoci executed a Greek citizen during a robbery, while in 2018 he escaped from the prison of Patra.

He was released a year ago and immediately after his release he started again the criminal activity, more "violent" than before.

How did the Mykonos robbery happen?

According to the Greek police, everything started when a person who was in a shopping mall in the center of Athens began to shout loudly that two people who were in the same shopping center with him were armed robbers.

The two people, after threatening him, tried to leave, but one of them was blocked by a police patrol that happened to be in the area, while the other left in a vehicle and after being chased by the rapid intervention forces through the streets of the Hellenic capital, was stopped at the exit to the highway to Lamias.

From the verifications and denunciation made by the citizen in the shopping center, it turned out that the Albanian citizens Alfons Ndoci born in 1983 and Gerald Jaho born in 1999 had raped and then robbed in November 2022 on the island of Mykonos the Albanian citizen Tonin Preka born in 1982.

At that time, Preka, who is a businessman and owner of several villas on the island of Mykonos, reported that two people whom he did not know before, had threatened him and then hit him, grabbing a bag with 40,000 euros that he had to make payments to the staff of his businesses.

The sum of nearly 16,200 euros benefited from theft and armed robbery was found with the two arrested, as well as two pistols, one Beretta and the other Sig Saurer, as well as 17 cartridges, a package of cannabis.

The investigation shows that Alfons Ndoci was wanted for two other convictions for violence and illegal possession of weapons.

The two arrested will be sent to the court for security measures on Tuesday.
