Tirana International Airport (TIA), through a post on Facebook, informs citizens that from today until September 10, they will have to appear at the airport 3 hours before departure, to check-in.

According to TIA's announcement, this change is due to recently added passengers in order to improve the travel service. 

Mother Teresa Airport Announcement:

Mother Teresa Airport would like to inform you of an update regarding the check-in and security process at the Airport from today until September 10th.

To ensure smooth travel and to accommodate additional passengers during this period, we would ask all passengers to arrive at the airport at least 3 (three) hours before the scheduled departure time.

Please consider the possible additional time required for baggage check, security checks and any unforeseen circumstances that may develop.

This measure aims to improve the overall travel experience for all passengers. As always, your safety and comfort remain our top priorities. By arriving early, you allow us to carry out the necessary procedures quickly and efficiently. Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to serving you during your journey from Tirana International Airport.
