The Special Prosecutor's Office has asked the court to accept the request for the confiscation of the assets of the businessman Anton (Pashuk) Gjinaj (Gjini) and the persons related to him, based on the law on combating organized crime.

From the analysis of the facts and the administered documentation of the assets of the citizen Anton GJINAJ and his family members, it turns out that they have an unjustified economic level and it is suspected that these immovable or movable assets were acquired as a result of his criminal activity that he developed in Albania and Spain, says SPAK.

After a complete and comprehensive investigation in relation to property proceedings no. 7 of 2021, SPAK on 21.07.2023 has sent to the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, the request for confiscation of seized assets, specifically:

From the acts administered, it appears that with the decision No. 9 of 2010, of the Provincial Court of Alicante, based in Elce, Spain, the defendant Pashuk Gjini was found guilty and sentenced to 8 years and 9 months of imprisonment for the criminal offense of narcotics trafficking as part of a structured criminal group.

Likewise, it turns out that citizen Pashuk Gjini in June 2006, in cooperation with other members of the criminal group, citizens Eduart Shehi, Matijas Fernadez, Maxim Antonov, Roy Evans, Edëin Dubbelman, Pieter Cornels and other unidentified persons, have trafficked in Spain a quantity of 50 kg and 610 grams of narcotics of the type "heroin", with a market value of 1,941,623 Euros. From the verifications carried out by the judicial police at the General Directorate of the State Police, it results that the citizen Pashuk Gjini changed his name from "Pashuk Gjini" to "Anton Gjinaj" on 17.02.2011.
