Walter Bami

The Tirana court frees Valter Bami, arrested after the assassination attempt on Gentian Bejtje in Larushk of Fushë Kruja, where his brother-in-law, Ramazan Sino, was killed.

The court reduced the security measure "prison arrest" against him to "house arrest" due to the passing of the 6-month detention period.

Bami was one of the first people to be questioned after the assassination, but was not charged in connection with it.

He was handcuffed on the charge of "unlicensed possession of firearms" because of a weapon found in his apartment.
