Prime Minister Edi Rama, during his appearance today for a statement to the media, attacked the leader of the Together Movement, Arlind Qori , referring to him without mentioning him by name as the "professor" and "preacher of violence".
He claimed that a group he described as ANTIFA exerts psychological pressure on protesters and prevents them from accepting dialogue.
Rama said that he had also communicated with protesters by phone and invited them to talk, but, according to him, they were afraid that they would be labeled as traitors or would face violence from others.
He also claimed that people with criminal activities were involved in the protests.
" I have communicated by phone, I have invited them, and they have been characterized by fear of each other, the desire to talk, but fear of each other, fear of being labeled as traitors, fear of suffering the consequences of the violence of others, who are an ANTIFA group there, ideologized by the well-known 'professor', the well-known 'preacher' of violence, who everyone knows and I don't even want to mention by name, and who have a truly outstanding ability and capacity to put others in psychological terror and to force others to go after them. Then there was another component, a component of criminals, who were present, people of the hur and the rope who did their part in that protest. I am convinced that the days and months will bring to light the evidence of those protesters themselves, when they are freed from this whole maze of a completely imaginary revolution, behind which are also forces that are not "They want Albania's progress. This is little, but it is very certain ," Rama said.
