A 17-year-old boy has been identified as the suspected perpetrator of the jewelry attack in Lezhë on Tuesday evening, just 100 meters from the city's police station.

Specialists for the investigation of crimes at the Lezhë Police Station have identified and announced the wanted citizen KN, 17 years old, resident of Lezhë for the criminal offense of "Theft with violence".

"This citizen, in a jeweler in the city of Lezhë, stole jewelry that was in the window at the front door, and was physically confronted by the jewelry seller who tried to stop him but could not as the 17-year-old minor managed to leave with a motorcycle along with stolen jewelry. The work to capture him continues," the police announced.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office of the Lezhë Judicial District for further action.
