Parallel to the protest in Himare for the release of Fredi Beler from prison, a protest is also being held in the city of Thessaloniki in Greece.

Extremist members of the organization called the Holy World are gathering today in front of the premises of the Albanian Consulate in Thessaloniki.

They have called for Beler's immediate release as well as displayed the flag of "Northern Epirus" as well as a Greek-language banner reading "Northern Epirus is Greek".

Meanwhile, the Greek mayors of Athens and Thessaloniki, CostaBakojani and Konstantinos Zervas, are present at the protest.
