DP MP accuses: The young man did not hang himself, but was raped by Kavaja police
DP MP, Dashnor Sula has reacted after the tragic event in Kavaja where a 31-year-old lost his life after committing suicide at the city police station.
Sula writes that sources to confirm that the young man did not kill himself, but he died as a result of violence exercised by police officers.
He asks the Prosecution to uncover the event and not allow the manipulation of evidence.
"Kavaja was shocked this afternoon by a serious event where according to the first reports, a 31-year-old man with the initials IS died in the premises of the Kavaja Police Station. Sources confirm to me that the young man did not kill himself but he died as a result of barbaric violence exercised by police officers.
I call on the Prosecution to uncover the event professionally and without allowing the manipulation of evidence. "The opposition is closely following the event and we encourage the prosecution to do their job independently," Sula wrote on social media.
