Killed the hashish guard, life imprisonment for the Albanian in England

A 31-year-old Albanian man has been sentenced to life in prison in Great Britain. According to the British media, it is about Eugert Merizaj.

The latter has been found guilty of killing cannabis worker Hemauand Ali Hussein in an empty house on Charterhouse Street in 2019.

He fled to Belgium but was captured last September.

Merizaj was extradited from Belgium where he escaped last September. Merizaj bought an ax, cable ties and rope that were planned to be used in the murder.

He also made three trips to Hartlepool with other gang members and was out of the house when Hussein was killed. The 31-year-old Albanian is not the person who shot Hussein, but took part in the crime and was treated by justice the same as the other members of the group.

The incident happened on September 14, 2019. Three of Merizaj's suspected accomplices, Noza Saffari, Dorian Pirija and Qazim Marku were found guilty of Hussain's murder, but were acquitted after a trial in January last year.

The fourth person who was tried for murder is Anxhelo Xhaferi, 25 years old, but he was also acquitted of all charges.
