Ertjan Kofsha dominated in breaking and pushing

The young Albanian weightlifter Ertjan Kofsha has surprised with his appearance at the European Championship for the ages U-15 and U-17 that is being held in Raszyn, Poland.

The talent from Shtërmeni of Elbasan, shone by winning three gold medals in the U-17 grumps. The youngster is trained by veteran trainer Leonard Toska.

Ertjan Kofsha, who competed in the weight up to 89 kg, made a fantastic performance, dominating his rivals. He climbed to the top step of the podium with the Albanian flag on his shoulder in this important barbell event for the ages.

Kofsha recorded outstanding results, with 145 kg in the breakaway style, 168 in the push style, to close the two-eventer with a total of 308 kg. He ranks himself as one of the future talents of red and black weightlifting.
