From starters and protagonists, to players who need to find space... Milot Rashica and Edon Zhegrova are facing a difficult situation at their clubs.
Rashica seems to have lost ground at Besiktas. After the approach of Ernest Poku, the Kosovo international striker has fallen down the pecking order and is now considered the third choice on the right wing. The Turkish club are also seeking his departure, while Rashica wants to continue his career in Istanbul.
Another delicate situation is that of Edon Zhegrova at Juventus. The 26-year-old has been left out of Juventus' Europa League squad, a decision that shows that he is not currently in coach Luciano Spalletti's main plans.
Zhegrova has also had few minutes in the championship, only two appearances so far. Two footballers who are considered important in the Kosovo national team but who are currently looking for something very important: minutes and the trust of the coaches.
And for Rashica and Zhegrova, the challenge is now clear: to return to the field, to convince and change the hierarchy in their clubs. Kosovo will return to the field very soon with the matches of the League of Nations. The Dardanians are in Group B3 where they will face Israel, Austria and Ireland.
