Liverpool, unstoppable, also triumphs over Real Madrid

The Champions League has closed the fifth round, with seven matches that gave a spectacle.

Liverpool does not know how to stop, as it registered the fifth victory in a row. Arne Slot's team won 2-0 against Real Madrid, thanks to goals from Mac Allister and Gakpo. It is worth mentioning that Mbappe and Salah wasted a penalty.

The English are the only team to top the standings with full points.

Juventus did not go further than the goalless draw against the English Aston Villa. The Italians were lucky, because the home team had a goal disallowed by VAR at the end.

In other meetings, Dortmund triumphed 0-3 against Dinamo Zagreb, while Lille beat Bologna 2-1.

Benfica won 3-2 against Monaco, same as PSV against Shakhtar Donetsk.
