Real unhappy with Kylian Mbappe
Kylian Mbappe

Signed like a star, but Kylian Mbappe is not providing the expected sparks at Real Madrid. The captain of France has disappointed so far with "Los Blancos". Mbappe has scored 9 goals in 17 games so far for Real Madrid, which is not a bad figure, but with some of those goals coming from penalties, the feeling is that he has yet to show what he can do in the shirt white.

The striker is currently exceeding the expected goal figure with 1.83 in La Liga and 1.68 in the Champions League. His 12.7% shot-on-goal conversion rate makes him the 48th most effective striker in La Liga and the 125th in Europe's top 5 leagues, while Robert Lewandowski has taken 10 fewer shots for him scored more than twice the number of Mbappe in La Liga.

Worrying sign for Real Madrid and makes it clear that Mbappe is indeed lacking in confidence. With Vinicius out for the next few weeks, Mbappe should take up the preferred position on the left wing, which could help him return to his best.
