The newly elected chairman of the Youth Forum of the Democratic Party, Besart Xhaferri, has commented on the accusations leveled against him for election manipulation and political interference.

Xhaferri said on Abc that his platform won in FRPD, while adding that the other candidates acted wrongly, as they could have competed on the same platform if they wanted to win.

Asked by moderator Xhokaxhi about the accusations that he has received the political support of deputy Belind Kelliçi, Xhaferri said that these statements have damaged him more by spoiling his image.

Excerpts from the conversation:

Question : Even in this contest among young people, there were accusations of vote manipulation. I don't want to dwell too long on the accusations of manipulation of the Youth Forum elections, I want to talk about political action. Besart was accused of vote manipulation, interference, support from MP Belind Keliçi, what really happened?

Xhaferri : These are ordered accusations. One charge was that it is a fixed race. More than one predetermined race I have felt a predetermined contestation. Undoubtedly, every race has disputes, there is debate. The good news for Albanians is that there are only contests for PD when it is contested in the end. To clarify the public, it is a race where I won 55% of the votes. My advantage is that I had 5 candidates in front of me who, if they were on the same front, could have endangered me. But it is also an insult to my race, my sweat, but also to my team in all of Albania. However, I extend my hand to my competitors for the future.

Question : I was impressed by what you said that the other political forces do not have internal competition, in kmei. But the accusations do not come from other political forces, but from within the DP?

Xhaferri : We are ready to bring this food to him. I tell them that in every process there will be disputes, but after this PD will come out united, the only crack came on September 9, as there was no contest, but it was a division on the road for the Democrats, where some went behind the facade of non- grata will lead us to disaster, some others followed the same path

Question : During the FRPD race, did you have support or investment from senior DP officials, the name mentioned is Belind Kelliçi?

Xhaferri: Sulmi ndaj Këlliçit ka filluar pa dalë ende emri im në garë. Pastaj mua kjo vetëm më ka dëmtuar, nuk më ka ndihmuar. Etiketimi që unë jam kandidat i zotit Këlliçi më ka dëmtuar, pasi ka ulur imazhin tim apo kontributin tim në FRPD. Unë jam prej 7 vitesh anëtar i kryesisë së FRPD. Kam kontributet e mia të cilat i kam kryer në mënyrë fanatike dhe vetëmohuese. Unë jam nga ata personazhe që nuk kërkoj vëmendje, por kam kërkuar që të jem pjesë e garës. Nëse ka një lobim në këtë garë ka qenë kundër jo pro meje.

Pyetja: Si qëndron e vërteta për çregjistrimet apo regjistrimet e rja në FRPD?

Xhaferri: Është një vjedhje e database të forumit rinor kur u bastis zyra e kryetarit. Nëse ndodh kjo brenda partisë ne patjetër duhet të bëjmë riantarësime. Këto janë thjeshtë aludime që hidhen tani. Nëse kandidatët do të kishin patur probleme me këto, nuk duhet të kishin hyrë në garë.

Pyetja: Ky proces i riantarësimit pati si pasojë mospjesëmarrjen në votim, ose pengimin e ish-anëtarëve për të votuar?

Xhaferri: Aspak, rregulli ishte se në 15 shtator mbyllet riantarësimet, pastaj duhet të dorëzonim 1500.

Pyetja: Kush ka tentuar të sabotojë procesin?

Xhaferri : I personally have been shot all the time by some currents within the PD. I have had an attack from several factors within the party and outside it, which other candidates have factored. If I win it is not a predetermined race, but a predetermined contest.
