Saimir Tahiri appears in court again, what will he benefit from this time?

The court of Elbasan has decided to examine on October 10 the request of the former Minister of the Interior Saimir Tahiri. This time, Tahiri has asked to be sentenced to probation.

The former interior minister, who is serving a sentence of 3.5 years in prison in Lushnje, has addressed a request to the Elbasan court to recognize the probation service.
The judge in this case will be Elis Dine.

If his request is accepted, he will receive a reduction of at least 1.6 years in prison. Tahiri has been locked in a cell for 8 months, where it was initially decided for him to serve his sentence in Fier prison. While 3 months ago he was transferred to Kosovo in Lushnja.
