The Democratic Party has proposed today that within the framework of the Territorial Reform, the country will have 92 municipalities, from the 61 that are currently in the whole country. There is a merger in some municipalities and the creation of many others, mainly those that used to be municipalities.

In the range of municipalities that have been like this before, it is only that of Orikum.

"Orikum Municipality is the only municipality in the proposed list that returns to the conditions of the local unit as it was until 2015. Today it is the NJA of the Vlore Municipality", says the proposal presented to the Assembly by DP experts.

Below is the complete PD proposal, with all 33 new municipalities required to be created.

The Democratic Party, the group led by Enkelejd Alibeaj, will propose increasing the number of municipalities from 61 to 92 municipalities and reducing the number of counties from 12 to 6 regions. Meanwhile, the Reestablishment of Berisha requires 95 municipalities and 5 regions.
