The Minister of State for Youth and Children, Bora Muzhaqi, is known for the frequent slips she makes during public speeches, and she seems not to worry about it, as she stated in a television interview that she laughs when she hears them.
Today, she held a meeting with the high school students of Fier, where she made another mistake. During her speech, Muzhaqi talked about teaching coding language to first grade children.
As she was explaining how a first grader can learn to code, the minister addressed the youth to ask their own children.
Muzhaqi : What I was saying is that 100 schools in Albania have already started doing the coding program. Most of you think they are in first grade, they don't know how to write, they don't even know English and how are they going to learn coding. But actually this coding is prepared for first graders.
It has a methodology that is based on a game in a fun way. For those of you who have children in first grade (you don't actually have children) but you have siblings who may be in first grade you may wonder what they are learning during this new curriculum.
