The mother of former Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, Angelina Vučić, was attacked this morning near a polling station in central Belgrade, according to a report by Serbian media outlet Informer.

According to the latter, people he describes as participants in the blockades insulted him and forcibly took the bag of food he was carrying.

The incident is suspected to have occurred shortly after she voted in the snap parliamentary elections. Informer writes that the incident has been reported to the police and that investigations are underway to clarify the circumstances.
