In the last two days, news has circulated that Socialist Party MP Zamira Sinaj blackmailed a citizen with a photo of his child playing basketball, after he sent her a message on social media.
The socialist MP has categorically rejected this claim, considering it "a well-coordinated campaign."
"I want to make it clear to everyone: neither I nor my staff have exerted any kind of pressure on anyone. These accusations are untrue and fabricated for discrediting purposes."
"My staff has only responded to repeated, aggressive and unacceptable behavior, with abusive and hooligan language. Any attempt to present this as "pressure" is a pure manipulation of reality. Anyone who has contributed to the creation and spread of this situation will face the justice system for insult, intimidation and image damage," she wrote, among other things, in a status on her Facebook account.
Full reaction:
In recent hours, a well-coordinated campaign has been undertaken on social media, based on insults, public lynching, and deliberate manipulation of communications taken out of context.
I want to make it clear to everyone: neither I nor my staff have exerted any kind of pressure on anyone. These accusations are untrue and fabricated for discrediting purposes.
My staff has only responded to repeated, aggressive and unacceptable behavior, with abusive and vulgar language. Any attempt to present this as “pressure” is a pure manipulation of reality. Anyone who has contributed to the creation and spread of this situation will face the justice system for insult, intimidation and defamation.
It is unacceptable to normalize insults, attacks and hate speech against a woman and mother, and then distort the truth to justify such behavior. Anyone who chooses this path must bear moral and legal responsibility for the example they set.
