Armored vehicles, around 5 thousand people identified, 371 detained, including 110 minors, and 9 arrested.

Tensions and clashes were recorded in several cities in Italy, during another difficult day for public order.

However, unlike last week, this time there were no repeated episodes of violence and looting.

This is also thanks to the work of the security structures, which had been engaged for days to prevent the unexpected protests that were expected to be organized at the last moments by the newly created "October 17" movement, organizer of the recent mobilizations that ended in riots.

"The right to protest must always be guaranteed," Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni declared on social media in the evening, thanking Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi and the police.

She emphasized that the right of citizens to live safely in their cities must also be guaranteed.

"The measures approved in recent days by the Council of Ministers go precisely in this direction: to provide the state with more effective instruments to prevent violence and to prevent criminals and violent individuals from destroying entire cities," said Meloni.

According to the Prime Minister, security must be guaranteed for everyone: for those who want to protest peacefully, for working citizens, and for anyone who wants to live in their city without fear.

"Without leaving room for those who only seek clashes and violence," Meloni concluded.
