The famous Albanian singer Dua Lipa has been sued again in court for using a recording in one of her most famous songs, Levitating.
The million-dollar lawsuit was filed by singer Bosco Kante, who claims the pop star used his talk box in remixes of the song without his permission.
"Talk box" is a device that makes vocal vibrations sound like musical notes.
Both Dua Lipa and the warner music company Music Group have not reacted to the lawsuit.
According to the indictment, British-Albanian star Dua Lipa had permission to use "talk box" on the original recording, but not in any remixes, Reuters reports.
The lawsuit alleges that the 27-year-old reused the work without permission in further releases including the remix The Blessed Madonna, another remix featuring DaBaby and a performance by Dua Lipa at the American Music Awards.
It's not the first time Dua Lipa has faced copyright claims over Levitating.
According to Reuters, a lawsuit by the reggae band Artical Sound System was dropped in June and a separate claim, by songwriters Sandy Linzer and L. Russell Brown is being litigated.
In 2021, she was also sued for posting a photo of her on Instagram without paparazzi permission.
