The mistreatment of the elderly woman at the "Orenda" center in Peja is apparently not the only one. Another resident has also been mistreated in this center before.

For this case, Tomor Hasani has sent a complaint to the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, but he has not received an answer. Hasani, in a conversation with the Express newspaper, gave details about the case.

Last year, Tomor Hasani sent a complaint to the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare for the mistreatment of a member of his family. He said it is about his father's aunt. He has shown that the elderly woman confessed to his father, in this case to his own brother.

"My grandfather went to visit his sister and when they started talking, she started crying and it seemed that the nurses were misbehaving with her," declared Hasani.

He said he did not know if it was physical abuse, but added that his family member complained that the nurses were not taking good care of him at night.

“Për keqtrajtim fizik nuk e di që ka pasë, mirëpo ndoshta prej frikës nuk ka tregu… Nuk e di, nuk mund të them asgjë për keqtrajtim fizik, mirëpo ajo ka thënë se verbalisht infermieret janë sillë keq. Psh, natën kur ka pasë nevojë, nuk kanë marrë ndihmë prej infermiereve”, tha Hasani.

Ai tha se për këtë çështje ka dërguar email në Ministrinë e Punës dhe Mirëqenies Sociale, mirëpo nuk ka pranuar përgjigje nga ta. ‘Përgjigje’ ai mori nga pronari i qendrës “Orenda”.

“Kam dërgu email në ministri, s’kam marrë përgjgije. Mirëpo kom marr prej drejtorit, i cili më ka thënë ‘pse ke vepru në mënyrë të njëanshme, e nuk na ke lajëmru neve’ dhe u ka bërë presion fëmijëve të hallës së babait me e tërheq ankesën, por unë nuk e kam tërheq”, tha ai.

Ai tha se nuk e din nëse ende familjarja e tij qëndron në këtë qendër, pasi sipas tij, me çështjen janë marrë fëmijët e saj.

“Fëmijët janë marrë me atë punë, se ata kanë qenë të mllefosur me mu se janë tutë që po hakmerren infermieret”, tha Hasani.

Ai ka treguar edhe emailin që e ka dërguar në Ministrinë e Punës dhe Mirëqenies Sociale.

She complains that the nurses in this residence have inappropriate behavior towards the elderly who are placed there, This happens especially in the night shift, when the elderly with special needs need help with things they cannot do on their own. it is stated in the email that Hasan sent to the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Today, a video was published in the media and social networks, where it can be seen that a nurse slaps and kicks an elderly person in the "Orenda" center, while other nurses laugh and record it. Three of the nurses have already ended up in police custody, while investigations continue.
