The identity of the employee who appeared to be inhumanely abusing an elderly person at the nursing home in Peja, Kosovo, has been revealed.

It is about the citizen Aurona Pelaj from the village of Novosellë i Peja. She was arrested by the police together with the head nurse, who filmed her colleague's act and laughed.

The girl was seen slapping and kicking the elderly woman. Shocking images are making the rounds of the network, as the action of the young girls has quite shocked the public opinion in Kosovo.

For this event, there was a boom of immediate reactions, both from citizens, officials and even public figures in Kosovo.

"With concern, we have seen all the footage of the mistreatment of an elderly woman by a group of girls in a care home for the elderly in Peja. I have been informed by the Kosovo Police that so far two of the violators have been arrested and the investigations are continuing. I strongly call for bringing to justice all persons implicated in this inhumane act" , wrote the Minister of the Interior, Xelal Sveçla.

"I didn't arrest the couple of this criminal... it's not enough to see them in the square! Filthy, vile, ... unscrupulous idiots together with these hyenas who laugh and record. Personally, I had this so-called nurse for hospital at this time." wrote moderator Liberta Spahiu.

"Pain, tears, longing and sadness. Who knows how that woman ended up in the "Old People's Home in Peje". Do you miss the children? Family members? May you find peace in the years that are left to you, it is found among the flames of the hysterical existence of the "medicinal sisters" SHAME AND HORRIBLE"  - writes actress Adriana Matoshi.
