Public opinion in Kosovo and Albania has been shocked by some images that made the rounds of the network, where an employee was seen raping a woman in the old people's home in Peja.

The nurse Aurona Pelaj was seen beating the old woman to death, while her friends who were nurses at this center had fun and saw it as amusing when the old woman moaned and cried, there were some of them who even filmed the scene.

The event took place in the "Orenda" care home for the elderly, where nurse Pelaj abused an elderly person suffering from Alzheimer's, while the other employees, Altina Rexhepi and Ramzije Kuqi, were smiling.

After the publication of the video, the Board of the Center for the Care of the Elderly "Orenda", has made the decision to dismiss the four nurses involved in this event, which has shocked the entire public opinion. The reaction of the police was also immediate, arresting two of the employees of the Home for the Elderly

The husband of one of the nurses seen in the video is also arrested. He was arrested after allegedly threatening the owner of this center, Anton Rasaj.
