After the physical violence against an elderly woman, who is also the mother of a martyr, in the asylum for the elderly in Peja, there has been a reaction from one of the center's owners. In his reaction to the media, Anton Rasaj has expressed his indignation about the case in question and asks the justice to give the appropriate punishment.

"We have been trusted by parents of family members, for which today's event has hurt us so much that we cannot find words to express this indignation. I have no words to describe how I felt when I saw the behavior of the nurses. I inform you that without any guesswork, I have immediately fired the personnel in question, I have requested that they act quickly, and for the damage caused by them, they will pursue those responsible in other legal procedures as well."

"I invite the bodies of justice to do their work efficiently and for them to receive the deserved punishment! We assure the families and all of you that we will take any necessary action! I repeat, I am very sorry, I know this announcement does not take away the pain for each of you, especially the family of the respected lady, but I promise you that I will do everything in our power! , said Rasaj.

Meanwhile, there were many reactions after the violence against the elderly woman in the nursing home in Peja. The Minister of Internal Affairs, Xelal Sveçla, considered the violence against the elderly woman unacceptable and called for all those involved to be brought to justice.

"With concern, we have seen all the footage of the mistreatment of an elderly woman by a group of girls in a care home for the elderly in Peja. Such acts of violence are unacceptable wherever they occur, but in particular they are more serious when they occur within institutions that are considered to offer help and care. I have been informed by the Kosovo Police that so far two of the violators have been arrested and the investigations are continuing. I strongly call for the bringing to justice of all persons implicated in this inhumane act", wrote Minister Sveçla.

Even the former president and businessman Behgjet Pacolli has condemned the violence against the elderly woman, who is also the mother of a martyr. In a post on Facebook, he said that he wants to meet him, while he said that the perpetrators of the violence should be put in jail.

"You who hit him, you who laugh and you who film. What do you have to say now? Do you see that everything in this world comes back like a boomerang. You have created negative news all over the country. You abused an elderly mother. Even a martyr. I really want to meet this woman and hear what she has to say. But you who caused this violence, I hope you will have enough time to think about your action in your cell", writes Pacolli.
