An Albanian citizen from Berat has been sentenced to 2 years and 8 months in prison for defrauding an Italian man with mental health problems.

The script, based on facts read in the Italian court is similar to that of soap operas.

Beratajsa was working as a baker, when she met the Italian who would become her next boyfriend and his brother. It is the older brother who tells the court:

"I started to think I should have followed my instincts. My brother is 60-years-old but has the brain of a child. And yet when I saw them both laughing, he seemed happy, I couldn't do anything," the Italian's brother said.

In three days, the Albanian took the Italian and lost track. He was reported to police at the time. It had never happened before that the Italian left without unlocking his phone.
