You've probably noticed at least once when rain invades the streets of the city, and a white foam is created on the asphalt.

What is it and where is it formed?

White foam is created as a result of the mixture of oils that has the road with the rain. Especially when the days before it rains have been hot, the high temperature causes asphalt oils to surface.

This phenomenon makes the road very slippery, so it is good to be careful in driving the vehicle.

White foam on the road can also be created by decomposition of organic waste. Passing cars on the road mixes rain with pollutants causing this phenomenon.

This phenomenon has been happening in the streets of Rome today, leaving many people amazed.
