The terrorist attack in Moscow

Two weeks ago, the United States embassy in Moscow warned of the risk of terrorist attacks in crowded places.

President Vladimir Putin was also aware of the warning from US security services, but dismissed the warning as "clear blackmail from the West in an attempt to destabilize our society".

The US embassy's warning was aimed at US citizens. "Some extremists appear to be planning attacks," the embassy said, without specifying the matrix of potential terrorists. The notice appeared on March 8 and considered terrorist acts possible "in the next 48 hours".

Even the Italian embassy, based on information received from the Americans, had on the other hand issued an "alert" advising the Italians present in Moscow to stay away from particularly crowded places.

Meanwhile, the news has already gone around the world and from what we understand, we are dealing with a pure act of terrorism, where the Russian FSB and the National Guard are involved in the investigation.

Intelligence services in Moscow have started work immediately, as special groups have entered the Crocus Concert Hall, where the event took place.

From what is understood so far, four people armed to the teeth, wearing specialized military clothing, entered a concert hall and shot anyone who came in front of them, leaving at least 40 dead from what has been reported so far and with hundreds injured.
