The commentator on political developments and the well-known American activist Candace Owens has been fired from her job, after her comments regarding the Israel-Palestine conflict.

Owens was part of The Daily Wire, a conservative media network founded by Ben Shapiro.

With Israeli leaders, the Daily Wire has accused Owens of trying to spread anti-Semitic rhetoric in recent months. The clash became so intense that during an interview, a senior Jewish cleric called Owens a "ni*ga," a pejorative term for black people.

As he has confirmed his departure from the network, Owens says that he is "liberated" already.

Owens has spoken out against Israeli crimes against the Palestinian civilian population.

"No government anywhere has the right to commit genocide, ever. There is no justification for a genocide. I can't believe this needs to be said or even considered less controversial to say," Owens declared in a post on the social network "X" in November of last year.
