Babis Anagnostopoulos, from yesterday will serve his sentence in Malandrino prison in Fokida.
His request to stay in Korydallos was rejected for security reasons.
The Greek pilot, convicted for the murder of his wife Caroline Crauts inside their house in Glyka Nera, has been placed in quarantine for three days, as part of coronavirus protection measures. It will then be transferred to a cell.
The media in the country report that he is under increased surveillance, due to the threat they allegedly made 8 months ago, when Georgiaos said he would kill him.
Meanwhile, recall that Anagnostopoulos asked prison officials to work part-time.
His request is being considered after he has been disciplined for six months, after he was caught with a mobile phone in the cell of Korydallo prison.
His second request concerns studies. The pilot wants to take the national exams of the year, to enter the Faculty of Law.
It is not known if he always wanted to study for this branch or made this decision while he was being tried as a defendant.
