Rocket launcher found in Zubin Potok

A rocket launcher was found wrapped in a black bag in the Zubin-Potok border area, near the village of Klecke.

This was announced by the Deputy Director of Police for the North Mitrovica region, Veton Elshani, who said that there are no suspects or arrested persons in connection with the case.

He further said that the area where this rocket launcher was found is very close to the border with Serbia.

"Today, on 03.02.2025, at around 16.00, while the police were patrolling the Zubin Potok border area near the village of Kleqka regarding information about alternative routes for smuggling goods, they came across a black nylon bag in which there could be something suspicious. After the regional forensics arrived at the scene, we noticed that we were dealing with an M80 rocket launcher of 64mm caliber," Elshani stated.
