There was a woman on the team of Nord Stream 2 saboteurs. And her story would make Marvel superheroes pale in comparison. 

Freya was one of the divers who descended to the bottom of the Baltic Sea to extract the pipeline mine that cut off the flow of blue gold to Europe from Siberian deposits.

In fact, "she was the bravest of the whole team," claims the Wall Street Journal journalist, who revealed new details about the Nord Stream 2 attack in a book just published in Germany.

In his detailed reconstruction of the attack, Bojan Pancevski also claims that the then Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Zaluzhny, informed Zelensky about the plan.

To this day, the Ukrainian president vehemently denies having any knowledge of the sabotage of the Russian-German gas pipeline.

According to an investigation by the German tabloid Bild, Freya was not only the most daring saboteur of Nord Stream 2: in her youth, she had been a former pornographic model. For example, in a 2004 Ukrainian erotic magazine, the Ukrainian spy posed naked wearing a captain's cape and the inscription "Why does the Crimean sun arouse feelings of sex?". The agent was also prepared to use her pornographic past as a cover for the sabotage: if the police had checked her, she would have said that she was filming a pornographic film with an underwater theme.

According to Panchevski, Western intelligence services learned about the attack in advance and asked the Ukrainians to stop the operation. And the Germans were informed by the CIA that Zelensky was aware of the plan, but had stopped it. It is unclear to this day how much truth there is in this information circulating among the intelligence services. Above all, Zaluzhny's intention to convey the plan to the Ukrainian president was dictated, the journalist claims, by the former head of the Ukrainian armed forces' desire to "cover his ass." Zaluzhny recently stepped down from his post as ambassador to the United Kingdom due to tensions with the Ukrainian president.
