A new biography of the world's richest man, Elon Musk, exclusively published by CNN, sheds light on his "involvement" in the war between Ukraine and Russia.

In one passage, an episode is recounted when Musk secretly decided to cut off his Internet provided via Starlink satellites to ukraine's military.

This was, according to Walter Isaacson, after Musk feared Russia's response to the Ukrainian nuclear missile attack.

"Elon Musk secretly closed the starlink entrance off the coast of Crimea last year to deter Ukraine's underwater attack by the USV on the Russian Navy.

The USVs, packed with explosives, had already approached the Russian fleet but suddenly "lost contact and ended up ashore with no damage."

Musk's decision, as a result of which Ukrainian officials began begging him to fire the satellites again, was triggered by an acute fear that Russia would respond to Ukraine's attack on Crimea with nuclear weapons, a fear sparked by Musk's conversations with senior officials from Russia," the post reads.
