A total of 32 journalists have been killed since the start of the war in Ukraine, said the deputy chairman of the Supreme Council of Ukraine.

Oleksandr Korniyenk honored the media personnel who lost their lives, saying: "We cherish their memory."

He added: "Courage and strength for all those who defend Ukraine on the information front. Thank you for your work. ”

During the first month of the Russian occupation, two journalists were killed when artillery fire targeted a team of the American television channel Fox News.

They were Pierre Zakrzewski, a 55-year-old cameraman, and Olexandra Kuvshynova, a 24-year-old Ukrainian journalist who worked for Fox News.
