This morning, a phishing attack took place against Raiffaisen Bank, one of the most trusted banks by Albanians and not only. The news was made public by the IT expert, Tomi Kallanxhi who writes 'morning star' and posted this news.
According to him, customers have been faced with e-mails in which it is written "your service will be closed" and further follows as follows:
Hello!
Dear customer, we regret to inform you that your service is about to be blocked due to failed updates, therefore your customer area is restricted until the update is completed.
There is currently a "phishing page" circulating, to which you should be careful not to click on update your data, as your privacy can easily be broken.
It is important to emphasize that your account is not at risk, because the bank has "two factory authentication" for transfers, but balances can be read and reports can be downloaded.
Be careful who your e-mail comes from, read it carefully. There is still no official reaction from the bank in question. But should we prepare for more ?!
