The owner of the company 'BanaKing', Trifon Murataj, has been declared wanted, while the administrator Petrit Demishaj and 2 employees of the scanner have been handcuffed. The police say that there is evidence that these people, in cooperation with each other, have organized the trafficking of 33.5 kg of cocaine from Ecuador to Albania.

The police have handcuffed Petrit Demishaj, who was tasked with waiting for the load of bananas in the Port, which also contained the amount of cocaine. And while 2 employees of the scanner at the Port became part of this group, Alban Naziraj 48 years old (scanner operator) and Artur Sevdaraj 48 years old (scanner imager).

The latter, in cooperation with each other, managed to get the container containing the amount of drugs clean in the scanner. However, the Albanian anti-drugs had information about the amount of drugs that had arrived, for this reason they did physical checks with dogs, where they managed to discover cocaine hidden in 31 packages in 2 banana crates of 'BanaKing'. The blue uniforms are following the capture of Trifon Murataj, the owner of the company Zico Sh.A that sells bananas under the name "Bana King". 

Itinerary

It left on September 20 from the Port "Puerto Bolivar" in Ecuador, 10 days later it stopped in Panama, at the port "Cristóbal". The next destination was the Port of 'Gioia Tauro' in Italy, where the ship stayed in this Port for October 21. On this date, he left for Albania, where he arrived at the Port of Durrës on October 28, and while the discovery of the drug was made, today, November 3.

This is not the first time that drugs have been found in the banana containers of the 'BanaKing' Company. The most recent case was in July of this year. The container of bananas was found open and about 50 crates were found to be missing, which were suspected to contain cocaine. There are many drug episodes in the Port of Durrës

Operacioni i quajtur ‘Again’, u realizua nga strukturat e Hetimit të Krimit në Drejtorinë Vendore të Policisë Durrës, në bashkëpunim me Policinë Kufitare të Portit Durrës, në koordinim me Departamentin e Policisë Kriminale në Policinë e Shtetit, kanë organizuar dhe finalizuar operacionin policor të koduar “Again”. Në vendngjarje kanë qenë edhe prokurorë të SPAK.

Port, Durrës – Vijon operacioni policor i koduar “Again”, për goditjen e veprimtarisë kriminale në fushën e trafikimit të drogave të forta.

Operacioni u zhvillua nga strukturat e Hetimit të Krimit të Drejtorisë Vendore të Policisë Durrës, në bashkëpunim me Policinë Kufitare në Port Durrës, në koordinim me Departamentin e Policisë Kriminale, në Policinë e Shtetit.

Vihet në pranga administratori i kompanisë që priste ngarkesën me banane, brenda së cilës Policia gjeti 33.5 kilogramë kokainë.

Shpallet në kërkim presidenti i kësaj kompanie.

Në pranga edhe 2 punonjës të skanerit, në Portin e Durrësit.

Në vijim të veprimeve të thelluara hetimore, të kryera nga strukturat e Hetimit të Krimit të Drejtorisë Vendore të Policisë Durrës, për zbardhjen e rastit të trafikimit të 33.5 kilogramë lëndë të dyshuar narkotike kokainë, që u gjetën dhe u sekuestruan nga Policia, gjatë operacionit policor të koduar “Again”, u bë arrestimi në flagrancë i shtetasve:

P. D., 57 vjeç, banues në Tiranë, me detyrë administrator i kompanisë që kishte porositur ngarkesën me banane, për veprën penale “Trafikimi i lëndëve narkotike”;

A. N., 48 vjeç, banes në Tiranë, me detyrë operator skaneri, në Portin e Durrësit, për veprat penale “Trafikimi i lëndëve narkotike” dhe “Falsfikimi kompjuterik”;

A. S., 48 vjeç, banues në Tiranë, me detyrë imazhier skaneri, në Portin e Durrësit, për veprat penale “Trafikimi i lëndëve narkotike” dhe “Flasifikimi kompjuterik”.

Gjithashtu u shpall në kërkim shtetasi T. M., 53 vjeç, banues në Tranë, president i kompanisë pritëse të ngarkesës me banane. Vijon intensivisht puna për kapjen e tij.

The arrest of 3 citizens and the announcement of the search for the president of the company were made in the context of the coded police operation "Again", during which the Police services, based on the informational intelligence available to the State Police, that in a cargo container of bananas, for the account of a company in Tirana, contained narcotics, they exercised a detailed control with anti-drug dogs, despite the fact that the scanner brought out the load of bananas clean.

From the investigations, it is suspected that these citizens, in cooperation with each other, have organized the trafficking of 33.5 kg of cocaine, from Ecuador to the Port of Durrës.

Under the guidance of the Prosecutor's Office at the Durrës Judicial District Court, the investigative structures of the DVP Durrës continue their work to identify and capture other persons implicated in this criminal activity.
