Ten career losses, Supporters of The Oblast count Berisha electoral defeats

When he began to undermine The Oblast with Foltore through the base, Sali Berisha called the former leader of the Democratic Party a 'chronic loser' who had to step away from the party's direction.

Berisha mentioned the 2015 elections, those of 2017, blamed him for the boycott of the 2019 elections, (although at the time himself blessed this boycott, there were even accusations that he was among his main promoters) for the burning of mandates, where also Berisha's role was protagonist and for losing in the 25 April elections last year.

"Basha is the broken leader", Berisha often repeated, counting the losses, until he managed to take the party.

Now, it is the people of The Oblast who are responding to Berisha with the same coin. They are distributing through portals that control and social networks Sali Berisha's ten losses, since the July 1992 local elections, a few months after the PD had won the absolute majority in the general elections, until the 2013 parliamentary elections.

Even among the losses, Supporters of The Oblast also count the 2011 local elections, where Basha himself won with extralegal maneuvers supported by Berisha in front of Edi Rama for the Municipality of Tirana.

On the list of losses are the two referendums on the Constitution. In the first held in 1994, Albanians overthrew Berisha's project, which was accused of declaring himself king with this Constitution, while in the second, four years later citizens voted down the Constitution, even though Berisha called for it to be voted against.

Salvini was further billed for the loss in 1997, the one in 2001 and the one in the 2000, 2007 and 2011 local elections.
