The couple couldn't stand the insistence of Bujar Fandaj and the action that had filled the cup had arrived right on the phone of Vanessa Ballan's partner, Nicola Scapinello.

40-year-old Kosovar is currently in prison in Treviso, accused of murdering 26-year-old Vanessa Ballan in Riese Pio.

So the couple, by mutual agreement, went to denounce Fandaj at the end of October. This is what emerges from the investigations of the carabinieri. It is suspected that the 26-year-old told her partner that she had ended the relationship with the 40-year-old and that for this reason she had been sexually blackmailed, "Il Messaggerio" reports.

Vanessa was killed with eight stab wounds inflicted with a 20cm blade, one of which pierced her heart and two lungs; deep shocks that caused death in minutes. The person who apparently killed him was Bujar Fandaj, the 41-year-old construction contractor from Altivole who was arrested immediately after the murder and who was denounced by the victim at the end of last October for stalking and threats of blackmail taking advantage of some videos made in moments of intimacy between the two, who had a romantic relationship that lasted for some time and ended last summer.

A complaint, that of a young mother who was expecting her second child, which had not resulted in any action from the prosecution. And it is precisely in these aspects that the report requested by the Minister of Justice Carlo Nordio is expected for the work of the magistrates who followed the case.

Public prosecutor Barbara Sabattini had considered it not urgent to take protective measures after the complaint, while waiting for the data to arrive regarding the phone messages between Balla and the suspect, since the woman had deleted the messages and messages. According to what has been reconstructed by the prosecutor of Treviso, Marco Martani, the day after the report to the police, a check was made at Bujar's house, during which several mobile phones containing the video material used for blackmail were seized.

"After the raid - Martani told reporters - there were no further episodes of harassment, approaches or threats by Fandaj. The assessment made - specified Martani - was not urgent, which unfortunately turned out to be unfounded". Perhaps an understatement for which Nordio demands an answer. Vanessa Ballan had reported another man, in 2021, again for stalking, but withdrew the complaint when the stalking of the person stopped.
