A 34-year-old Albanian wanted by our authorities has been extradited from Sweden where he was arrested.

The 34-year-old man with two identities, KK alias KM, born in Fier, has been arrested.

The Special Court of the First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, in 2022, assigned to this citizen, the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Aiding illegal border crossing", committed in the framework of organized criminal group.

The 34-year-old is accused that during the period 2020-2021, in collaboration with other citizens, he illegally transported Syrian, Egyptian and Iranian immigrants by boat to Italy and other countries, against profits.
