This is the last week of classes for 12th grade students, who starting from June 1st will take the matura exams. Exams which will no longer take place in classes with 15 students, but in large spaces.
For example, here in the "Qemal Stafa" gymnasium, the corridors will be used where chairs and benches will be moved, and the process will also be monitored by camera.
"We are working with students to focus on the questions and keep calm to bring out their best potential in exam environments. The innovation is not only the open environments where the exams will take place, but also their monitoring to prevent problems such as copying" - said Klotilda Jaupaj.
Exam environments must be sufficient for at least 150 students who must be placed no less than 1.2 meters apart.
This change in the matura regulations has divided high school students, some evaluate the new method as positive, while others like the previous one.
The graduates will first be tested in the English test on June 1, 6 days later in the Albanian language and literature course, while on June 13 they will take the mathematics exam and end the 3 years of high school by testing their knowledge in the optional subject in June 19.
This time they have the right to request the revaluation of the thesis./ TCH
