The State Police announces the opening of applications for admission to the Security Academy for students who have completed the second cycle of studies with averages above 8.

There are 100 free quotes in several cities in the country, for those who have completed the first and second cycles of higher education studies, in law, economic or computer sciences.

Applications begin on August 10th and close on August 30th.

Full notification of the State Police:

Based on the principles of meritocracy and equal opportunities, as well as in order to complement the organic, with well-prepared and well-trained professionals, for the fulfillment of the objectives of the State Police, the General Directorate of State Police opens applications for admission to the Academy of Security, for students who have completed the second cycle of higher education studies in legal sciences, economics and computer sciences, and having average marks above 8, in the second cycle of higher education studies in these branches.

Applications start on 10.08.2023 and end on 30.08.2023.

Applications are made to local police directories, where the applicant has permanent residence.

Admission quotas to the Security Academy, of citizens who have completed the first and second cycle of higher education studies, in law, economic or computer sciences, are 100 and are divided according to the needs of police structures at local level in respective directories, as follows:

17 quotas in the district police structures of Korca; 5 quotas in the police structures of Berat district; 8 quotas in fier county police structures; 13 quotas in the structures of Vlora County Police; 16 quotas in the structures of the Police of Gjirokastër, 13 quotas in the structures of the Shkodra district Police; 16 quotas in the structures of the Kukes District Police and 12 quotas in the structures of the District Police of Kukes.

After the conclusion of the competition, the ranking of the winning applicants according to the results achieved will be done at the county level where they have applied, based on the quotas announced for the competition.

The right to apply to citizens who meet the general criteria, standards and specific criteria related to the competition, as follows:

The general criteria are:

- to be a citizen;

Not to be excluded from the State Police, other national security structures and not to be removed from the civil service;

Have full ability to act;

Be in good health and physically able to perform the task;

- Not to be sentenced by a final court decision, for committing a crime or for committing a criminal offense deliberately;

- Have evidence of vehicle driving ability, type B;

meet the specific standards and criteria associated with the competition;

- Meet the criteria to be equipped with a certificate of credibility.

The specific standards and criteria related to the competition are:

a. to have completed his studies in the second cycle of higher education studies, in law sciences, economic sciences or computer sciences;

b) be of no more than 30 years of age;

c. to have average over 8 grades in the second cycle of higher education studies;

d. to be no less than 170 cm in length for males and 160 cm for women;

e. mastery of english language, at a level above 60 points, according to alcpt standard;

Applicants must submit to human resources structures at local police directories, the following documentation:

a. Application form (Link no.1.);
b. Diploma and list of notary grades of the first and second cycles of study. (Both degree levels are of the same field of study, in accredited study programs.)
The average grade of the second cycle of studies should be calculated by higher education institutions.
Applicants who have completed higher education abroad must do the same assessment of diplomas earned abroad and the calculation of the average grade of the second cycle of studies, at the Center of Educational Services, in the Ministry of Education Sport and Youth.
c. Photocopy of identity card;
d. Photocopy of the vehicle's driving ability of type "B";
e. Certificate of judicial status (drawn from the police structure where the application is made);
f. Family certificate (drawn from the police structure where the application is made);
g. The evidence from the court;
h. Proof of the Prosecutor;
i. 2 files measuring 4cm x 6 cm.

Phases of evaluation.

Applicants who meet the criteria and submit the required documentation shall be subject to the following assessment stages:

a) Evaluation according to the average grade of the second cycle of studies in the same field of study;
b) Assessment by test of English language, according to alcpt standard;
(c) Interviewing applicants;
(b) health checks;
(a) the fingerprint;
(b) Final verification of the applicant.

The lists of winning applicants will be according to the quotas announced for competition at the district level.

Applicants must submit the documentation within the application deadline. At the time of submitting the documentation, the applicant is given the application number.

Applicants who do not meet the criteria or have not submitted the required documentation within the application deadline are notified in writing by local human resources structures for reasons of disqualification.

Applicants have the right to appeal to the director of the local Police Directorate within 2 days from the date of notification of the disqualification reply. The Director of the Local Police Directorate reviews and returns responses within 2 working days from the date of receipt of the complaint.
