"GET OUT OF THE PARK" - Dozens of citizens rise in protest against
Protests against 60-storey tower in Tirana

Dozens of citizens have joined the protest against the construction of the 60-story tower in the park behind the Opera and Ballet Theatre in Tirana.

The protest began on Saturday with a shout of "Get your hands off the park" in protest against the destruction of the only remaining flower in the capital.

Members of the "Movement Together" who organized the rally, have called on SPAK to investigate the part that will be invested in the construction of the tallest tower in Tirana.

Now named "Tower of Foltores", Tirana's gradaciela is said to be built by a businessman who stands as a cover of members of Sali Berisha's family.

He is talked about close ties with the son of former Prime Minister Shkëlzen Berisha and as one of the sponsors of the "foltore" movement.
